Recently we went to the aid of a sailboat that had hit a reef in Fiji because the spotter didn’t warn the helm in time about the coral reef up ahead.
Fast communication between the spotter and helm is essential to navigate the dubiously chartered coral reefs and bommie fields of Fiji and we’ve often envied crew on other boats who manage to do this without shouting at eachother down the length of the boat!
Someone at @hollylandtech obviously noticed our lack of effective communication and sent us some cool Solidcom C1 Pro headsets to try out.. and boy have they made a difference
