We begin sailing through the stunning Bay of Kotor, one of the most picturesque sailing destinations in the Adriatic, known for its crystal waters, medieval towns, and dramatic mountains. As full-time liveaboards on our catamaran, we share what it’s like to sail, anchor, and live aboard while traveling around the Mediterranean.
On land, we rent a car and drive the winding switchback roads of Montenegro, taking us high into the mountains. Our first stop is the Njegoš Mausoleum, perched atop Mount Lovćen, offering sweeping views of the Bay of Kotor and beyond. From there, we continue our journey to the incredible Ostrog Monastery, built dramatically into a cliffside and one of Montenegro’s most sacred sites.
