Anchored in Trellis Bay we put out some extra lines on a mooring ball and second anchor when it was determined that Tropical Storm Chantal was going to pass close enough to represent potential danger, especially if it developed any further as it approached. This was the first bands of wind as the storm got closer but luckily it passed further to the South than predicted so nothing major was encountered in the British Virgin Islands. Maximum wind was 35-40 knots and then calm returned the next morning… whew!!
