Winded Voyage 4 | Episode 48 | Cape Verde’s Little Sahara Desert

Each island of Cape Verde has it’s own identity. Boavista Island is the “Desert Island”. Its golden white sand beaches was flown over from the Sahara desert by winds of thousands years. And there, on the West side of the island is Cape Verde’s little desert. Eventually it’s time to go and we sail 40NM west on to Sao Nicolau island. A beautiful overnight sail in unique conditions.
