Just as I’m about to leave Alicante, I meet Diana Ross in person, as well as her husband Paul. They happen to be Winded Voyage followers. My journey continues along the coast until I get to Mare Menor where I have to get me and Galopin under a drawbridge to get to the marina. The next day wind is brisk and I sail out to sea to tack along the coast to Cartagena. Things didn’t work out as I’d hope and I’m forced to go into a marina that is too shallow and next thing I’m stuck in the sand. We manage to get free and continue along the Costa Calida towards Cartagena into the night. My navigation error offers me a most beautiful sunset on a wild undeveloped coast.
