Please be advised there is a bit of vulgarity in this episode. (At about 5:48 for a few seconds. You have been warned if you want to skip it:-)
I’ve been taken in by a crew of artist called XLF by a chance meeting with one of the members named Barbara, aka Barbi. They create fantastic street art. (Please have a look at their work with the links below). I’ve been introduced me to real Valencian events where I am the only foreigner, or Giri, as they call us. I ‘m invited to an oven rice cook-off and a Paella contest hosted in a abandoned city lot. There are hundreds of young people keeping the Paella custom alive with lots of drink and music. I’m sure this is an experience never seen before on a sailing channel. If I could only pass along the flavors.
