Earns his Swiss offshore sailing license and refits his boat. Then sails alone from the south of France along the Spanish coast to Tangiers Morocco. On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.

It’s time to leave Mindelo where I lived some of the best experiences of my life. It’s a tell-all episode. We’re sailing to Sal island and I’m accompanied by my beautiful friend Marizia, the girl whom you’ll get to know better. As well as Giani and Tatiana. The sailing begins calm and cool, but the ambiance is hot. And in the morning some of us are suffering. The wind picked up and the sea grew agitated, but we finally sail into the bay to anchor take a shower and recover.
