Earns his Swiss offshore sailing license and refits his boat. Then sails alone from the south of France along the Spanish coast to Tangiers Morocco. On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. After several weeks of waiting, we’re going back out to sea! I’m accompanied by a new crew member who was looking to hitch a ride on a sailboat. As well I was testing the boat and new crew. So me and Peter took our boats out for the weekend with our friends to test things out before going further. We went to one of my favorite anchorages on the island and later to the natural pools of Fataxia. Peter took out his drone and again shot epic cinematic scenes
