Earns his Swiss offshore sailing license and refits his boat. Then sails alone from the south of France along the Spanish coast to Tangiers Morocco. On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. It’s their Winded Voyage. A real living adventure series.

While waiting for hip surgery, my friends Lily from Cape Verde Africa and Peter The Canadian came to visit for the weekend. I took them to two of the most wonderful sights in Switzerland. One is taking a cog train all the way to the top of The Alps where Lily could see and touch snow. And the other is Switzerland’s most visited historical sights, the 1000 year old Castle of Chillon. A special moment where I took an African & A Canadian Inside This Mountain in Switzerland.
