On to the Canary Islands where he learned how to manage in extreme ocean conditions. Continues south to the Cabo Verde Islands, land of the most beautiful people ever. He learns to speak the local Creole language so to better understand the Cape Verdean culture. To enjoy life, feel young and love again. He recovers from hip replacement surgery and sails on to the great African continent where few sailors dare to go. His story is one of an old geezer living the life of a full time sailor with all it’s perils and pleasures. So hang on, eat, dance, laugh, love and discover the world with him and his boat Galopin. How I lost my dinghy in Cabo Verde Africa? There are only two ways really. Someone steals it or it drifts away. Usually it’s the latter. And often is pilot error. And often it’s because the pilot made a bad knot. This epiode goes through some of my errors and I offer some tips how not to lose one’s dinghy.
