Good Sailors Always Return | The Canadians Come Back In A Pandemic | Winded Voyage 4 | Episode 85

These two have been stuck on their boat more than two months. They started in Spain just when the pandemic struck, then sailed directly down to Cape Verde. It took them 17 days, and 14 more of quarantine in Mindelo Bay. It was a return trip for one of them, Peter. He was in Mindelo several months ago, and we became great friends. We also meet Lily, my dear friend, and her quest to become somebody. And as friends go, we cannot forget Jodie, who knows how to overcome the color barrier by simply dancing. As well we are accompanied by another friend, Lucious. He takes us to a special event which brings the city back to life. We are in Africa, where life matters. People matter. Friends matter. Most people here are of African descent. Except for me, Jodie, Peter, Ayrton and a few others on the whiter shade of pale. Undoubtedly, we all matter.
