We CUT a huge HOLE in our Sailboat's keel [E347]
The list of surprises keeps growing. This season we decide to tackle some much need love below the waterline which never had a barrier coat. This doesn't go without a few hiccups or extra things to fix should I say. The rudder comes down to fix a structural issue where it's mounted, our propeller also has to be removed in order to replace the cutlass bearing, the strut gets welded, a water tank removed and the task of sanding the hull to bare glass begins. This leads to finding an old damage and making a huge hole in our keel, not ideal. All of that between some serious cleaning after our extremely moldy and wet return. Filmed Fall 2024.
