Navigating the Open Waters

As they leave freshwater behind for the ocean, the crew is filled with enthusiasm and warmth as they sail into the South. They take turns navigating and keeping watch over their new C&C Landfall 43 yacht.

Making the Most of the Journey

The Wildly Intrepid Sailing crew knows that safety and enjoyment are essential to their journey. They create a cozy space for their children on board, complete with a little fort built by the family. As they sail into the Delaware Bay, the crew members find time to relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy delicious meals like mac and cheese.

Overcoming Challenges

As with any journey on open waters, the crew encounters challenges that test their skills and determination. While sailing, they play around with the pole, adjusting cables and attempting new techniques to optimize their performance.

The Journey Continues

With a newfound appreciation for their C&C Landfall 43 and the open waters, Wildly Intrepid Sailing looks forward to more thrilling adventures ahead. As they sail into the sunset, their enthusiasm for discovering new places and experiences together fuels them towards future expeditions.

Leaving New York to sail South has a few challenges. The first one is to find the right weather window to sail along the New Jersey Coast late October. We take our chance for this 133NM crossing which means an overnight sail with a 4 months old baby and a 2 year old. We have to be creative. Filmed October 2023.
