As they sail into the Delaware Bay, the crew members find time to relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy delicious meals like mac and cheese.

Overcoming Challenges

As with any journey on open waters, the crew encounters challenges that test their skills and determination. While sailing, they play around with the pole, adjusting cables and attempting new techniques to optimize their performance.

Leaving New York to sail South has a few challenges. The first one is to find the right weather window to sail along the New Jersey Coast late October. We take our chance for this 133NM crossing which means an overnight sail with a 4 months old baby and a 2 year old. We have to be creative. Filmed October 2023.
