Dominica Didn’t Let Us Leave Easily… E400
Our time in Dominica comes to a pretty rough ending!
We grab a mooring in Roseau and head ashore to explore downtown, only to realize we’ve LOST our cellphone as we head back home. 😩 Not exactly how we planned to spend our last days on one of our favorite Caribbean islands!
Back at the boat, things improve when we discover an awesome snorkeling spot literally RIGHT UNDER our sailboat. One of the things we love most about cruising—you never know what you’re going to find beneath you!
Then it’s time to say goodbye to Dominica and set sail for Martinique.
What should have been a straightforward passage turns into a rough, bumpy ride. Kai and Alex are feeling the seasickness, the boat is getting tossed around, and everyone is VERY ready to see Martinique appear on the horizon.
Another very real day of family sailing in the Caribbean—beautiful moments mixed with the not-so-glamorous side of cruising life.
