After six days at sea, my sailboat Karl and I are finally reaching the Equator. This magical line that many sailors dream about. When I first fantasized about crossing the equator on my own keels, I surely had a different szenario in mind. Nevertheless, even though I was only on a week long solo passage and not on an ocean crossing, I still had a very magical moment.
Also, I had to keep a promise that I had made years ago…maybe you can guess what that might be…
