This episode, we sail from the stunning islands of the San Blas to Shelter Bay Marina in Colon, Panama to start the next chapter of our sailing adventures around the world by passing through the Panama Canal.

We set sail with our friends on board for a perfect day of sailing, a salute to the Caribbean Sea really. It was rather a great way to remember the Caribbean side as we make way to the Panama Canal. Our adventures to travel around the world has brought us to the entrance to the Panama Canal where we will cross into another ocean.

We settle into the marina for a week while we prepare to cross the canal. While here, we meet with our agent who has organized all the logistics to cross on our behalf, get the boat measurements logged, and schedule our passage through the canal.

Come along as we prepare for an experience many sailors anticipate upon entering the biggest body of water in the world.

P.S.
If you are a sailor looking to cross the Panama Canal we highly recommend hiring an agent, more specifically Erick Galvez. he truly made our our passage less of a task and more of an experience to remember forever. Below are his contact details and be sure to let him know who sent you:)
