Just days before our planned departure from Gibraltar we discovered a problem with our standing rigging that may have needed to be addressed before we could cross the Atlantic Ocean. But a well-timed Happy New Year email from Leopard Australia set in motion events that led to ZSpars coming to our boat, checking our mast and teaching us about our rigging and how to tension it correctly. We want to share what we learned that day with you.
