Ongoing Mast Issues on NEW Yacht | LEOPARD 45 CATAMARAN REVIEW
Since buying our Leopard 45 in June of 2021 we've had ongoing issues with the mast, the most serious of which started with the sounds of the conduit slapping and breaking inside the mast as the yacht sailed across the Atlantic Ocean.
In this video we cover a range of mast related topics including why our Raymarine wind sensor failed, what we found inside the mast after pieces of conduit fell out when it was removed in Italy, some of the issues we've had with the construction of our Z-Spars mast, the Code 0 setup on the Leopard Catamarans option list, and what it's been like for us to try and have warranty issues addressed since leaving South Africa and going on the hardstand in Europe.
