Our mast related issues have been going on for over 18 months now, and were previously detailed in the two mast videos we shared in 2022. A few months ago we announced that Travelopia / Leopard Catamarans had made the decision to supply a new mast, rather than repair the old one. While we weren't given specific reasons for why or how they came to this decision, we trust that it was made with good intentions given the people involved.
After some shipping and port delays trying to get such a large item to Trinidad, I got a phone call one day to say that the new ZSpars mast had left the port and was on its way to Power Boats with a police escort!
A big thank you to Ant and the other staff from Leopard / Travelopia who helped facilitate the organization and delivery of the replacement mast. Than you also to Salisha (Manager at Power Boats), the PowerBoats security staff, crane driver and of course the guys from JS Marine, all of whom assisted with the delivery and unloading.
