This is a quick look at the main 10 things we think are worth checking when buying or collecting a production catamaran. It is not just based on our catamaran, other owners have contacted us for advice and opinions on their new boats and we've incorporated their feedback and combined this with the information from the owners groups.
While it was primarily for new series Leopard Catamarans, the editable version can easily be modified if you're buying a catamaran built by another production yacht manufacturer including Seawind, Fountaine Pajot (FP), Nautitech, Lagoon, Xquisite and Bali.

Whether you're buying a new production catamaran from the manufacturer, visiting yachts at boat shows like the Annapolis Boat Show or buying an older yacht, hopefully our handover list can help make you aware of some of the potential issues a yacht can have, or even do your own unofficial survey to help find any existing problems on the boat. It was created, then updated, with the Leopard 45, Leopard 50 and Leopard 42 catamarans in mind, but can be modified to suit a range of other yachts such as the Lagoon 42, FP Astrea 42 or Seawind 1600.
