Step aboard our favourite yacht at this year’s La Grande Motte International Multihull Show; the incredible Vaan Yachts R5, a futuristic 49ft luxury catamaran that completely redefines life on the water.
In this video, we toured one of the most talked-about boats at the show: the $1.5M Vaan R5. Built from recycled aluminium and designed with sustainability at its core, this sailing catamaran is pushing to be one of the most unique yachts on the water. From the large, solid glass panels and minimalist interiors to the boutique-hotel styling and all-electric propulsion, the R5 feels more like a floating luxury penthouse than a sailing yacht.
The Vaan R5 combines Dutch design, modern architecture, and long-range cruising capability into one seriously unique package.
