A question to my viewers.
It is about twin keel craft taking the ground and antifouling.
When a twin keeled craft takes the ground. It will rest on its keels.
Thats the idea.
But the keels like the part of the boat below the waterline is painted with antifouling. To my thinking the paint that gets rubbed against the ground will wear off.
What do the boat owner do about that???
Do they care?
If any of my viewers got an answer please tell me.
Same thing when a boat is put on the hard to get antifouling. The part of the keel that is resting on the ground cannot get painted.
In a shipyard they paint that part when they lift the boat to launch her othervise there will be marine growt at that unpainted place.
I am curius. PLease tell me.
