The lid is already very flat me having sandpared them on my huge sandpaper on a flat steel plate.
Now matching that I am making the base for the gasket even flatter by gravity and infusion epoxy.
Pouring the epoxy in the gasket grove is all that is needed. Gravity dous the rest.
The NM infusion epoxy have very low viscosity and a long curing time ensuring that gravity will have enough time to work.
I put the base flat using a spirit level. Thats a beginning. Peter suggested that I put screws in the corner. That way I can adjust the level.
In fact no spirit level is needed. I realised that I can use the epoxy as a spirit level. If there is not enough epoxy in one part I just make it higher in the opposite and the epoxy will be coming flowing.
