Last night late when the glue had set I was back to undo the temporaliry screws.
Today the missing pieces are glued into place, again held with temporarily screws so again tonaight late when ordinary men are asleep I take my bile and pedal to my workshop and do a few more steps unscrewing.
The gasket to all my viuwers who have been afraid to ask is 2X3 centimeter EPDM ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber. exhibit superior resistance to heat, light, and ozone exposure. It is useful in external harsh environments. It also exhibits outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, steam, and weather. It can be used outdoors for many decades without degradation. EPDM has good low-temperature properties, with elastic properties to temperatures as low as −40 °C .
