The idea is to be able to get the centerboard out standing in the fore hach clean it and put it back just like you can do with a daggerboard.
The difference from other centerboards is that the pin the axis is like a round disk and is glued to the centerboard and lives in a groove
.The groove is on port and starbord side in the trunk and leads from the top of the deck down to the bottom of the hull.
No mowing things except the centerboard itself.
