Thelin Outdoor sent me different samples of canvas for the curtain for the bulkhead hatch.
Very quickly I realised that 2 mm neoprene was the way to go.
The hard hatches took way to much space.
Then the idea was to elliptical coamings. However making a mock up I saw that the eccentricity of the ellipse was close to zero or a circle so I decided on circular hatches. i have just to enlarge the height of the hatch by a few centimeter and that easy done.
A circular coaming gives the maximum pressure from the rubber cord.
