Tochtplanning Kanaaleilanden met PredictWind Offshore - Ep. 107
In deze video laat ik je mijn reisvoorbereiding zien naar St. Helier op Jersey. Inmiddels heb ik een stappenplan gemaakt om relatief snel een betrouwbare routeplanning te maken gebaseerd op wind en getijden.
Ik maak onder meer gebruik van PredictWind Offshore en Navionics op de iPad. Daarna synchroniseer ik de gekozen route met Navionics op mijn RayMarine plotter.
Gelukkig varen we deze keer in dezelfde tijdzone. Dat maakt het weer iets eenvoudiger. Op papier schrijf ik steeds de hoog- en laagwaters in drie tijden; UTC (Dover), UTC +1 (Kanaaleilanden) en UTC +2 (Nederlandse en Franse tijd).
