🌊 In this video I share some of the boat projects and preparations before leaving New Zealand. For example my second anchor is going through the cork in the v-birth, I replace the Wichard lifeline caps, I replace my handheld VHF, I do meal planning and customs and immigration papers.
Also I have my batteries replaced because my current batteries are at 75% of their capacity already and will probably be at 50% in one year. For AGM batteries that means end of life cycle. This is due to the warmer climat I sail in. So in stead of 5-7 years they have a much shorter life span.
🌊 Next up in Ep. 240: Will my safety gear pass the ultimate test? ⛵🌴
