After my first crossing to England, my engine started failing just before entering Lowestoft. Just before the sandbanks. What followed was a hands-on repair: a broken alternator bolt, a slipping V-belt, and multiple trips to a tiny hardware shop in the harbor.
In this video, I take you through the full process—problem-solving at sea, figuring things out step by step, and getting the engine running again. Not everything goes smoothly, but that’s part of the journey.
