[Ep 66] We Found an Abandoned Resort in Baja & the Spearfishing Was Insane

After weather pushed us away the first time, we returned to Ensenada el Pescador to see what we'd been missing.
The water that had been murky on our previous visit had finally cleared, and Liya headed back to the same spearfishing spots determined to give it another shot. This time, things went very differently.
Between successful dives, we explored the remains of an abandoned resort development hidden along the shoreline and learned more about the history behind it. As summer in the northern Sea of Cortez began winding down, we gathered with our buddy boats for a beach bonfire, potluck, and one more round of adventures before many of us started heading in different directions. Looking back, this summer gave us incredible fishing, unforgettable anchorages, lifelong friendships, and a reminder of why all those long days of boat projects and repairs are worth it.
