6 Days after the closing of sale on the vessel we FINALLY have the travel papers and cruising papers needed to start our journey from Panama City, Panama to Florida! We wrap up the shipyard week with critical repairs and an unexpected haul out from the constant changing of plans. But now it is time to embark on the boat’s first voyage with us, crossing the Panama canal at night. Starting the transit at 5:30PM we rush to get the Atlantic side but an unexpected twist in the twilight hours throws a devastating wrench in the whole game plan.
