One Last Push Before the Indian Ocean | S4 E39
In this episode, we make one final push to get our Leopard 46 Happy Days ready before beginning our journey across the Indian Ocean. It’s our last chance to finish the long list of boat jobs we’ve gathered while sailing through Thailand and Malaysia… and it all seems to happen at once.
From servicing the windlass, fixing a watermaker breakdown, replacing steering cables, tensioning the bolt rope, and fitting our new headsail, to preparing safety gear, re-galvanising the anchor chain, provisioning, and going through final checkout — this week becomes a whirlwind of work, chaos, and determination.
But this is the moment we’ve been building toward.
After months of preparation in Southeast Asia, Happy Days is finally close to being ocean ready.
