Yikes, the Gulf Stream is a confused piece of ocean! We get all sorts on this trip between Miami and Beaufort. Some calm motoring but also some scary lightning and everything in between.

After a kite surf at Stiltsville and a walk through Miami’s South Beach we set sail for Beaufort, NC. As well as the weather playing games with us the captain also hears a weird noise in the night and starts pulling the boat apart to try and find it.

We also hear about 60 mile winds forecast for the evening on our last day and hope that they don’t arrive. Watch next time to see if we get another storm in Beaufort.
