In this episode we slow down and enjoy island life in the Seychelles — exploring Curieuse Island, meeting giant tortoises, and riding bikes all over the beautiful island of La Digue with friends.
The Seychelles was an important stop on our Indian Ocean crossing. For sailors heading west, it’s one of the last places to pause before continuing toward Africa and the infamous Mozambique Channel. While we wait for the weather to change, we’re making the most of this incredible place.
From searching for giant tortoises on Curieuse Island, to turning into a full blown bike gang on La Digue, this week is all about enjoying the freedom of island life, spending time with friends, and exploring some of the most beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean.
Join us as we experience the slower pace of life in the Seychelles before preparing our boat for the next big leg of our circumnavigation.
