San Blas Islands… a beautiful paradise in Panama, but the Guna Yala people are not governed by Panama and have their own laws and traditions that make it a very unique place to visit.
The stunning scenery is something you would see on a postcard or travel ad. And the people are very industrious from the way they get around the islands on their dug out sailing canoes to the way they have adapted new business ideas to cater for visiting sailors.
This episode gives you a glimpse into ‘A day in the Life’ of our family while at anchor in San Blas followed by an epic kite surf session using the trade winds that pump through this region.
Archie gives you all some clear instructions on how to launch a kite from a boat! However our kiting aspirations are quickly squashed by the local Congresso and we discover there are more rules in San Blas islands than we expected.
