We had some great adventures in this episode of Sailing Wind Therapy. We continued our journey through the Ragged Islands at the southern end of The Bahamas on board our leopard 45 sailing catamaran. The sailing was great, and the snorkeling was beautiful. The bushwhacking across Flamingo Cay was interesting. Wish I’d had a machete that had a sharp edge on it. But, we made it to the top and back with only minor scratches and a few bug bites. I’d have to say the highlight of the trip was the thunderstorm we encountered at Water Cay on our way back to civilization. Of course, it was in the middle of the night. Always in the middle of the night, right? We saw winds greater than 45 knots, and the storm lasted about two hours. Thank goodness our Rocna 73 held like a champ. Love Rocna!
