In this episode which is out of order since we have not caught up on our Bahamas trip yet, we spend over a week in Annapolis, MD.
The first few days were at Cruisers University, learning all kinds of sailing essentials. From sail theory to avoiding catastrophe to staying physically fit while sailing. We can’t wait to do it again next year. We were especially excited to have two days of classes with Nigel Calder – Marine Electronics and Mechanics Guru! Yes, Adrienne is a Nigel Calder groupie!
Then the Annapolis Sail Boat show started. We visited some of our favorite vendors at the show: Parasailor USA, Intelligent Sailing, the Leopard Lounge, Landfall, and more.
Hanging out with old and new friends was awesome. Plus, Adrienne tried oysters for the first, and probably last time.
Then we finished the trip by helping tear down the Leopard booth (thank you Katie) and sailing out of the show on our friends’ (Dax and Jody) brand new Leopard 50. What an amazing experience!
We know we don’t have the largest YouTube channel out there, but we were so blessed to meet so many of our subscribers in Annapolis. We were completely blown away by everyone who recognized us, spent time getting to know us, and those who allowed us to get to know them. This channel started out as our diary, a way for friends and family to see what we’re doing. But none of them watch. You do! And you are what makes the filming, editing, searching for music, and putting the whole thing together all worthwhile. As long as we have you, we’ll continue to put out what we hope are entertaining and sometimes educational videos.

Sailing Wind Therapy
We’re Jeff and Adrienne. We both grew up sailing, but took 20 years off while married to our exes. When we got together in 2007, we remembered how much we loved sailing. So, we took a week-long sailing class in 2013, bought a Leopard 48 sailing cat, and never looked back (except for when Hurricane Irma destroyed her but we immediately purchased a new Leopard 45). In Spring 2021, our plan is to leave our marina in St. Petersburg, FL, and begin making our way to the Bahamas, then to New England, and then south, arriving in Grenada sometime in June 2022. Maybe, in May 2023, we’ll make our way across the Atlantic Ocean and spend some time in the Mediterranean. And then go around the world. We’ll figure it out. And hopefully, you’ll join us along the way. Thanks for watching our videos. We hope you like them.
