We sail our Leopard 45 catamaran around the north fork of Long Island, N.Y. to Greenport and Shelter Island. Then on to Buzzards Bay and Cuttyhunk and Onset.
Yep, you read that right. Our windows are falling out of our boat. Don’t you hate it when that happens?
This is a know problem with the tint flaking off the windows. The tint was painted on all the way to the edge of the glass, and the adhesive was attached to the tint. When it flakes off the glass, there goes the adhesion. And we’re on our way to New England!
Luckily, we have friends in Rhode Island who told us where to have them fixed. Problem is, we won’t be there for another 6 weeks. Luckily, again, we have a few friend who gave us suggestions that will keep us on the water safely until we get there.
So, here we are. Boat hacks all around!
This episode’s music comes from Samantha Fish and Jason Ricci. Both are fantastic Blues artists. You may remember Jason’s music from previous episodes. And we got to see Samantha Fish in concert in Brooklyn. Love her!
