Why do we love sailing in the BVI? Well, there are many reasons. First of all, the weather is fairly consistent. The winds are typically from the east around 15 knots. This makes it easy to sail as well as to plan our route.
Secondly, the islands are beautiful and pretty close together. That means you can have a beautiful sail in the morning and explore the islands all afternoon.
In this episode, we leave Scrub Island and have a beautiful sail up to North Sound. Then we make our way to Trellis Bay where we learn how to replace our generator’s impeller (out of necessity) before having another beautiful sail up to Anegada where we spend Christmas Day.
