Our old 1950’s sewing machine was a monster who loved eating anything you put under its foot. It was time to swap it out for something much more practical – so after much research and pondering we took a gamble – and bought a REX.
The REX is a copy of the famous SAILRITE – and it had received mixed reviews, as with other copy models (New-Tech, Family Sew, Strongarm) however we took the gamble and ordered one.
Typically, we put it to the test on one of the tougher jobs one can do – sail repair. Did we have a win? Did we buy a dud? Watch and see…
