The Tayana Blues! Will the projects ever end? Will we ever get to go sailing?? The boat projects on our Tayana 55 Staysail Schooner are more than we expected! The labor and expense has been daunting. Brian has been working on bedding everything on the deck and varnishing all the teak. Each project leads to more work than expected. We tackle the engine mounts and aligning the engine. Again! more work than expected. Brian finishes up with the emergency tiller- what it took to replace it. We are slowly working to take The Bohemian out for the first sail of the season. One of our trips will be a circumnavigation of the Delmarva loop.
