After we arrived last time in our next atoll, Makemo, and let the bad weather passing while Mario started to learn kiting, it’s time for us to snorkel thru the entry pass of Makemo. For that we anchor in front of town, where we find ourselves in the middle of a festival week.
After a chat with the city council we are allowed to make some nice drone shots for them as non of the residents ever saw the atoll from above. One of the provisions ferries arrives on the same day and together with our friends from SY YumYum we enjoy the time.
Due to the great contact we get with a few locals we really enjoy our time in Makemo and look forward to come back one day!
