After all the relaxation in the last days and weeks, it’s time to do something completely crazy!
Our destination for today is 622m above sea level, Mount Pahia on Bora Bora!
For months we have been relaxing on the Tuamotus and hardly moved, but animated by the promise of a delicious dinner on SY Yumyum, we set out to enjoy the incredible view from the second highest mountain on Bora Bora.
For experienced climbers certainly a piece of cake, for us an absolute challenge. The first 2 hours there is no real path, when the markings start we are not sure if we really want it.
On ropes we pull ourselves up to the summit, just in time the clouds come and the visibility gets worse and worse, but we enjoy the feeling of happiness to have arrived at the top!
What a view!
