What happens at Kandarola… stays at Kandarola.👑 😳
In this episode of Sailing Sea Moon, we leave Sea Moon safely tucked up in Rab harbour and head on foot to one of Croatia’s most famous FKK beaches — Kandarola.
But this isn’t just any naturist beach.
In 1936, King Edward VIII visited Rab with Wallis Simpson and famously went skinny-dipping here, helping turn Kandarola into one of the best-known naturist destinations on the Adriatic.
So naturally, we had to go and see it for ourselves…
We talk about the history of Rab’s FKK culture, the nerves of walking into a naturist beach for the first time, the etiquette, the atmosphere, and whether we were brave enough to follow in those royal footsteps.
