Along the way, we enjoy lots of awesome sailing, our first time relaxing in the Gulf of California, and then go check out the San Javier Mission in the mountains above Loreto. Sadly, a joyous visit from a pod of dolphins turns tragic as one gets stranded in shallow water. We attempt to rescue it, but are gutted when we realize it is too late. Nature can be cruel sometimes…

Upon arrival at Puerto Escondido, they discover that the drum assembly is not properly secured within the mechanism, causing issues such as difficulty in deploying or retracting the sail. After analyzing and repairing the issue using Marine-Tex epoxy, the crew successfully restores their boat to working order.
