When we told other sailors that we were sailing to this part of the reef, they warned us to stay away. Many said it was too dangerous to visit, but we had to see for ourselves. We crossed the lagoon from the village to the outer reef and found the most beautiful water that we've ever seen - miles of turquoise water over a sandbar with no other boats around. Heaven!

But we couldn't come all this way without exploring the true highlight of this part of the world. Our hearts were thumping in our chests but we had to see it for ourselves!
