Sailing to NEW ZEALAND! [RED SEAS]

Help us fix our boat in this season's major refit in New Zealand: www.red-seas.com/refit

We set sail for New Zealand three years after leaving Panama and finally completing our Pacific crossing. We have waited in Minerva Reef for a few weeks, hoping for a good weather window to take us south through the notoriously rough conditions to reach New Zealand and we hope we’ve chosen a good time to leave.

Strangely there are no winds and so we’re starting our journey by motoring more than usual but if we had to choose between too much wind and not enough, I guess we should be happy with the weather we’re seeing.

850 miles to go, only three of us onboard….let’s see what the ocean throws at us.

📖 Our Story 📖
We're Iain and Brioni [The Reds] a couple of redheaded Scots who sold everything we own and moved halfway round the world to buy a boat that we could call home. We have a habit of finding ourselves in the most unusual circumstances, but that’s what makes life interesting! We live in search of the most remote places to live and sail so hit subscribe and join us on this adventure!
