Replacing our main halyard (at anchor) is a difficult job, especially when we are battling large swell and fading light. We have a damaged line lifting our main sail and if we don't replace it now, we might find ourselves with bigger problems the next time we're out sailing offshore in big winds and that could be a disaster. So even though it is not ideal conditions, we have to try and make this repair before we can set sail for the next island.
We filmed so much of our adventure this week that we couldn't fit it all into one episode, so this extra video is a short bonus feature for you. We share more of these types of videos on Patreon so if you want to support our channel and see more of our life on the water, sign up at www.patreon.com/redseas

📖 Our Story 📖
We're Iain and Brioni [The Reds] a couple of redheaded Scots who sold everything we own and moved halfway round the world to buy a boat that we could call home. We have a habit of finding ourselves in the most unusual circumstances, but that’s what makes life interesting! We live in search of the most remote places to live and sail so hit subscribe and join us on this adventure!
