HUGE MILESTONE! (I've been waiting for this day!)

Some days are special - and this is one we will remember for a long time! We are celebrating reaching such an important milestone in my health journey, as I get back to who I was before my relapse earlier this year.

We expected 2026 to be full of hard work and adventure, sailing to new countries and adventuring throughout the South Pacific, but instead I had to face up to months of not being able to walk, hardly being able to string a sentence together, losing my short term memory and really not being able to live life at all.

But we struggled on and did our best with what we had in front of us at the time, and now, 9 months later, we find ourselves sailing to one of the most unique islands in Fiji, and hiking to the top of the hill for an incredible view.

There's all the usual things - some sailing, some silliness, beautiful scenery and a Brioni hike to top it off. But most of all, it's a celebration of how far we have come and what we have in front of us.

We know that some of you are still living in the trenches, facing illness or hardship, and we want you to know that we see you - we are so grateful you are here alongside us, and we hope that we can bring a little glimmer of light to your week, whatever you are battling. We'll do our best to chase down the sunshine and share it with you, wherever you are in the world. Let's go!

📖 Our Story 📖
We're Iain and Brioni [The Reds] a couple of redheaded Scots who sold everything we own and moved halfway round the world to buy a boat that we could call home. We have a habit of finding ourselves in the most unusual circumstances, but that’s what makes life interesting! We live in search of the most remote places to live and sail so hit subscribe and join us on this adventure!

We spent a long time choosing this model and there are a number of reasons why we are super happy with our choice, but after 6 years of hard sailing, and a recent rough ocean pass...
