We are pulling out our 100Ah Battleborn lithium batteries and upgrading to 5 x 240Ah (semi) solid state lithium batteries from Renogy to give us a total of 1200Ah in our house bank on our boat. We live fully off-grid 100% of the time, relying on solar panels to draw in enough power to run all our systems onboard but we never have enough storage capacity to keep us going through the cloudy days...but all that is about to change.

We are installing FIVE Renogy Pro S1 batteries and we'll take you through the whole process - why we chose these batteries, where we are installing them and how we are wiring them up to our catamaran's power set up.

And all this, just in time for Earth Day!
